  • 1/4 cup Parsley, chopped For garnish and added flavor.
  • to taste teaspoon Salt Season according to preference.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (optional) Add for extra richness.

Preparation

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Reserve a little pasta water for later use and drain the spaghetti, setting it aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic turns golden brown but not burnt.
  • Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil.
  • Season with salt and add chopped parsley.
  • Serve hot, topped with grated parmesan cheese if desired.
