  • 10 cups Seedless Watermelon Cubes, frozen for at least 24 hours Ensure watermelon is ripe for best flavor.
  • 2-4 tbsp Maple Syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 large Juice of Lime Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Mint or Basil leaves, loosely packed Optional, but recommended for herbaceous flavor.
  • 1 1/2 cup Filtered Water For adjusting texture; coconut water or lemonade can be substituted.

Preparation

  • First, let the Frozen Watermelon chunks sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to defrost some.
  • Add the Watermelon, 2 tbsp Maple Syrup, Lime Juice, Mint, and Water to a high-speed blender.
  • Pulse the blender until the Watermelon starts to break up, then blend to form a thick, slushie consistency.
  • Adjust the Maple Syrup to taste, adding more if necessary. If the mixture is too thick, add in extra water.
  • Divide equally into 4 glasses, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Serve the slushie in chilled glasses, garnished with fresh mint or basil for a colorful touch. Pair it with light summer foods for a complete experience.
