Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 320 g 1 ready-rolled sheet shortcrust pastry (about 320g / 11 oz) Use a ready-rolled sheet for convenience.

For the filling

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar For sprinkling over the pastry.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Adds warmth to the tart.
  • 500 g milk chocolate Use high-quality milk chocolate for the best taste.
  • 40 pieces marshmallows Can be adjusted based on preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) / 400°F / Gas, 6. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
  • Unroll the shortcrust pastry onto the tray, pressing two smaller sheets together if needed. Fold the edges inward to create a border.
  • Bake the pastry base for 10 minutes.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon. Scatter the cinnamon sugar over the pastry.

Assembly

  • Layer the pastry with generous amounts of milk chocolate.
  • Top with marshmallows.

Baking

  • Bake for another 10-15 minutes until the pastry is baked and the marshmallows are golden.
  • Optionally, caramelize the top under a broiler for a brief moment.
  • Let it stand for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Dust with cocoa powder or powdered sugar for added visual delight. Serve warm or at room temperature.
