  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese can complement with other cheeses like Monterey Jack
  • 32 ounces tater tots frozen tater tots recommended
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  • Add garlic, onion, and black pepper to the egg mixture.

Assembly

  • In a greased casserole dish, layer tater tots, followed by the cooked sausage, and then pour the egg mixture over the top.
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the cheese is bubbly.
