For the filling

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to substitute with other cheese varieties.
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon Use leftover bacon for convenience.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large carrots, cut into long strips Can substitute with zucchini or bell peppers.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Roll out the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and cut into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture and a carrot strip on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up the crescent roll starting from the wide end.
  • Place the stuffed rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

These rolls can be served warm with dipping sauces like ranch dressing, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
