  • 2 cans beef consomme (undiluted) 10.5 oz / 298 g each.
  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice Thoroughly rinsed.

Seasonings

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste black pepper Adjust according to preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and generously coat a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Spread the long-grain white rice evenly across the prepared dish.
  • Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper over the rice.

Baking

  • Pour beef consomme directly over the rice, ensuring complete coverage.
  • Place butter pieces across the surface.
  • Seal the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Bake covered for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Remove the foil and return the dish to the oven for an additional 20-30 minutes.

Serving

  • Once the rice is tender and slightly browned, remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
