  • 2 loaves Garlic bread loaves Ciabatta or baguette can be used as alternatives.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing the garlic.
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) Fresh garlic is recommended for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Pasta sauce Tomato or Alfredo sauce works well.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese For topping; feel free to mix cheeses.

  • to taste Pepper
  • Vegetables (optional, e.g., bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach) Customize as desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti and your choice of pasta sauce. Stir well to combine and heat through.
  • Cut the tops off the garlic bread loaves and hollow out the insides to create bowls.
  • Fill each garlic bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
  • Top with Parmesan cheese and any optional veggies.
  • Place the filled bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.

Serving

  • Serve the Spaghetti Garlic Bread Bowls warm, right out of the oven.
  • They make a great main dish on their own, or you can pair them with a simple salad for a complete meal.

Storage

  • If you have leftovers, let the filled garlic bread bowls cool completely.
  • Wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or foil and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • To reheat, place them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, or until warm.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different types of pasta sauce or add your favorite veggies. Don't overcook the spaghetti; it will cook a bit more in the oven.
