  • 1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce Any flavor of your choice.
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth Low sodium recommended.
  • 1 onion, chopped Yellow or white onion works best.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced Fresh garlic preferred.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust based on preference.

Preparation

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, chicken broth, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it's well coated.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot and mix with the sauce before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for a few hours before cooking. Serve with toasted buns or fresh salad to enhance your meal. You can also freeze the chicken for up to 3 months.
