Ingredients
  

For the Beef

  • 200 g lean ground beef

For the Potatoes

  • 2 medium potatoes, diced skin on
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste Adjust to preference

For the Broccoli

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400F (200C).
  • Toss diced potatoes with olive oil, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.

Cooking the Beef

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it up and seasoning with salt and pepper until no longer pink and slightly crispy on the edges.

Steaming Broccoli

  • In a pot, bring water to a boil and steam broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

Serving

  • Arrange the ground beef, crispy roasted potatoes, and steamed broccoli on a plate and season with a final pinch of salt and pepper if needed.

Notes

For optimal flavor, season the ground beef thoroughly and adjust the seasoning of the roasted potatoes before they go into the oven. Experiment with different herbs to customize the flavor.
