Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage Use your favorite type of sausage.
  • 6 large eggs Fresh eggs for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup milk Whole milk recommended.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice of cheese.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 cup bread cubes Use leftover bread if available.
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables Bell peppers or greens can be added.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust seasoning according to preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • In a greased casserole dish, layer the cooked sausage, optional bread or vegetables, and sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the layers.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze individual portions for up to 3 months. Reheat in oven or microwave.
