  • 2 cups shredded cheese Cheddar or Monterey Jack recommended.
  • 2 cups bread or vegetables (cubed) Optional, for added texture.
  • to taste salt Season to your preference.
  • to taste pepper Season to your preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked sausage, optional bread or vegetables, and cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the layers.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
