  • 1 head of garlic To be roasted.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Can be adjusted to taste.

  • 1 teaspoon paprika For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust if using salted butter.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap the head of garlic in aluminum foil and roast for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cloves are soft and caramelized.
  • Once cool, squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the softened butter to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Stir in the parsley, chives, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the butter to a serving dish or roll it in plastic wrap to form a log. Chill in the refrigerator until firm.

Notes

Use decorative dishes for serving or slice into rounds for an appealing presentation. The butter can be stored in the refrigerator for about two weeks or frozen for up to three months.
