  • 600 g frozen mango pieces Can use fresh mangoes, freeze them first.
  • 70 ml maple syrup or honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice or lemon juice For added citrus flavor.

Preparation

  • Add the frozen mango to a blender or food processor and pulse a few times until it breaks down into small icy bits.
  • Pause to scrape the sides, then pour in the syrup and citrus juice.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.

Serving

  • Serve immediately for a soft sorbet texture or place it in a sealed container and freeze for 2 to 3 hours for a firmer texture.
  • If frozen solid, let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before scooping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 weeks. Let soften before scooping if too solid.
