Ingredients
  

For the Brioche Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

For the Raspberry Filling

  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.

Rising

  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

Assembly

  • Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  • Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the dough.
  • Roll the dough into a log and twist it to make the swirl.
  • Place it in a greased loaf pan and let it rise again for 30-45 minutes.

Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

Serve fresh, warm with butter or cream cheese. Great for breakfast or as a cozy snack. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for freshness.
