Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Fresh, wild-caught preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust quantity according to spice preference
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Enhances flavor and helps spices stick

For the Avocado Lime Sauce

  • 1 piece ripe avocado Should be mashed until smooth
  • 1 piece lime (juiced) Freshly squeezed for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (chopped) Can substitute with parsley if desired
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust for seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle Cajun seasoning evenly on the fillets.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Sauce

  • While the salmon is baking, prepare the avocado lime sauce by mashing the avocado in a bowl and mixing in lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper.

Serving

  • Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and serve topped with the avocado lime sauce.

Notes

Serve with sides like a light salad, steamed vegetables, or quinoa pilaf. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime slices if desired.
