Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup sautéed peppers (green and red) Sauté until soft
  • 1/2 cup sautéed onions Sauté until soft
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, sautéed peppers, sautéed onions, shredded provolone cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.

Cooking

  • Bake for 1 hour or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a delicious twist, serve with a cheese sauce on top or alongside mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Consider adding Worcestershire sauce or different cheeses for variation.
