  • ½ cup cooked crumbled bacon or sausage (optional) Add for extra flavor and protein.
  • ½ cup chopped turkey (optional) Another optional protein source.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the 10 eggs and ½ cup of milk or cream until fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped vegetables, and any cooked meats if using. Mix well to distribute evenly.
  • Spray a muffin tin or silicone mold with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full to allow room for expansion.

Cooking

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 12 minutes, or until the egg bites are set and lightly golden on top.
  • Allow the egg bites to cool for 4 minutes before removing them from the pan.
