  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Use smooth peanut butter.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Jelly Swirl

  • 1/2 cup fruit jelly or jam Choose your favorite flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add the peanut butter to the cream mixture. Whisk until the peanut butter is mostly incorporated, noting that some small lumps are okay.

Churning

  • Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • During the last 5 minutes of churning, add the jelly or jam. Continue churning until it’s swirled throughout the ice cream.

Freezing

  • Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Notes

To serve, scoop into colorful bowls or cones. Add toppings like extra jelly or crushed peanuts for a fun twist. Allow the ice cream to soften slightly for better scooping.
