Preparation

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes without moving the fillets until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  • Carefully flip them over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the flesh side.
  • Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet, swirling it around to melt.
  • Add the minced garlic and lemon juice, mixing well, and let simmer for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

To enhance the visual appeal, sprinkle additional chopped parsley over the salmon before serving. Pair with sides like steamed vegetables or a light salad.
