Ingredients
  

For the cheesecake filling

  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip or whipped topping Can substitute with homemade whipped cream
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the base

  • 24-26 cookies Oreo cookies More as desired for topping or texture

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreos in a plastic bag using a rolling pin or a sturdy wooden spoon.
  • Spoon 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of the crushed Oreos to the bottom of 6 small dessert dishes, packing them down slightly.

Making the Filling

  • In a bowl, whip the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy and smooth using a hand or standing mixer.
  • Add the vanilla extract and mix in, then gently fold in the Cool Whip.
  • Fold in the remaining crushed Oreos to the filling mixture.

Assembly

  • Divide the cheesecake filling evenly among the dessert cups, gently pressing it onto the Oreo base.
  • Chill for about 1 hour until ready to serve.
  • Before serving, top each cup with whipped cream and more crushed Oreos.

Notes

Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Avoid adding toppings until just before serving to prevent sogginess.
