Ingredients
  

For the glaze and marination

  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice Freshly squeezed is preferred
  • 1/4 cup honey Can substitute with maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce if needed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Look for fresh, firm fillets
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • optional orange zest For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and olive oil.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Place the salmon in a shallow dish and pour the glaze over the top.
  • Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat the grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook the salmon for 8-10 minutes, basting with the glaze until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Garnish with orange zest if desired.

Notes

For serving, drizzle with leftover marinade, and pair with steamed vegetables, rice, or salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
