Pasta and Seafood

  • 8 oz fettuccine noodles
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh shrimp for better flavor

Creamy Sauce

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Add more for serving
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Do not overcook to prevent bitterness
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish Adds freshness and color

Preparation

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Cooking Shrimp

  • Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove shrimp and set aside.

Making Sauce

  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

Cooking Fettuccine

  • Add fettuccine noodles to the sauce, stirring until well coated and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

Combine

  • Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to combine, and heat through.
  • Serve garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding freshly grated nutmeg to the Alfredo sauce. Reserve some pasta cooking water to adjust sauce consistency.
