Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups ½ cup butter (melted)

For the filling

  • 16 oz 16 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature cream cheese for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp vanilla extract Can be substituted with lemon or almond extract.
  • 1 cup 1 cup heavy cream Whip until stiff peaks form.

Preparation

  • Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into a pan to form the crust.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks, then fold into the cream cheese mixture gently.
  • Spread the mixture over the crust evenly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.

Serving

  • Garnish your cooled cheesecake with desired toppings before slicing.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature, and be gentle when folding in whipped cream to maintain the airy texture. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days, or freeze for longer storage.
