  • 3 medium Ripe Bananas Very ripe for maximum sweetness and moisture
  • 2 large Eggs Room temperature
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar Can substitute with brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1/4 cup Milk Can substitute with almond or oat milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional but recommended
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour Can use whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda Check freshness
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Balances sweetness
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts Can substitute with pecans or omit

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth with a few small chunks.
  • Add in the eggs and melted butter, mixing thoroughly.
  • Incorporate the granulated sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.

Mixing

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped walnuts.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for approximately 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let it cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, use very ripe bananas. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before mixing. Feel free to experiment with nuts and spices.
