Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

Sauce and Cheese

  • ½ cup pizza sauce (or marinara sauce)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings

  • to taste assorted toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives, etc. Get creative with your toppings!

Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
  • to taste dried oregano (optional, for seasoning) Adds flavor to the crust.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it is about ¼ inch thick.
  • Use a cookie cutter to cut the dough into heart shapes.
  • Place the heart-shaped dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Assembly

  • Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on each pizza, making sure to leave a small border.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, followed by your desired toppings.
  • Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil to create a golden crust.

Cooking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  • Let the mini pizzas cool for a minute before serving. Arrange them on a platter for a festive presentation.

Notes

Serve warm with fresh herbs or a sprinkle of dried oregano. Pair with a refreshing salad or soda for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
