Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For the glaze

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar for the glaze and pour it over the meatloaf.

Cooking

  • Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve meatloaf with mashed potatoes or a side salad. Leftovers can be refrigerated for about 3-4 days.
