Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Cooking Salmon

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Cook the salmon fillets skin-side down for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3–5 minutes until fully cooked; set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper; simmer for about 3–4 minutes until thickened.

Finishing the Dish

  • Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon sauce over each fillet, cooking for an additional minute.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Pair with sides like steamed asparagus or creamy mashed potatoes to balance the richness of the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
