Broth and Seasoning

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) Adjust for spice level
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For sautéing

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz beef, thinly sliced Use marbled cuts like ribeye or sirloin
  • 2 packs ramen noodles Cook according to package instructions
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.

Cooking

  • Stir in the beef broth, gochujang, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  • Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions until noodles are tender.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For leftovers, store broth and noodles separately to maintain texture. The broth can be frozen for up to a month.
