  • 4 pieces ripe kiwis, peeled and diced Choose very ripe kiwis for sweetness.

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • In a blender, puree the diced kiwis until smooth.
  • Add the cooled sugar syrup and lime juice to the blender and blend until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for about 4-6 hours or until firm.
  • Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.

Notes

For best flavor and texture, start with very ripe kiwis. Consider adding a splash of fruit liqueur for an adult flavor or experimenting with additional flavors like mint or basil.
