  • ½ cup granulated sugar or honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • ½ cup water Used for simple syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest Optional, for extra flavor.

Preparation

  • Blend the chopped kiwis in a food processor until smooth.

Making the Simple Syrup

  • Combine the sugar or honey with water in a small saucepan, heating gently until dissolved. Allow cooling.

Mixing and Freezing

  • Mix the cooled syrup with the kiwi puree, then add lemon juice and lime zest if desired.
  • Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 4-6 hours or until firm, stirring occasionally for a smoother texture.

Serving

  • Scoop the sorbet into bowls or cones and garnish as you like.

Notes

Store in an airtight container with parchment paper on top to prevent ice crystals. Can last up to two weeks in the freezer.
