Ingredients
  

Meatball Mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef Choose high-quality beef for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg Acts as a binder for the mixture.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For Serving

  • 1 jar marinara sauce Use for serving over spaghetti or as an appetizer.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Mix until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

Notes

Allow meat mixture to sit for a few minutes after mixing for better flavor integration. Don't overhandle the meat to keep meatballs tender. For added flavor, consider crushed red pepper flakes or other spices.
