Ingredients
  

For the Pizza Base

  • 1 ball pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil For greasing the pan

For the Toppings

  • 2 fresh jalapeños (sliced and seeds removed) Leave seeds for extra spiciness
  • 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese (about 4 slices)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives to garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Lightly coat a pizza pan or baking sheet with olive oil.
  • Work the pizza dough with your hands to form a round shape about 10 inches in diameter. Transfer to a pan lined with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving about a 3/4-1 inch border.

Topping and Baking

  • Add mozzarella cheese slices, then sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and top with sliced jalapeños.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Top with chives or toppings of choice.
  • Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with ranch dressing or blue cheese dip for enhanced flavor. Can be adjusted for spice levels by removing jalapeño seeds.
