  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ lb hot Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled) Cook until browned and crumbled.
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For brushing the dough.
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes Optional, for extra heat.
  • ¼ cup hot honey Or regular honey + chili flakes.
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.

Cooking Sausage

  • In a skillet, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

Assembling the Pizza

  • Place dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  • Layer with mozzarella, cooked sausage, and feta.

Baking

  • Bake at 475°F (245°C) for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.

Finishing Touches

  • Remove from oven. Drizzle hot honey generously over the pizza.
  • Sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh herbs. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Ensure your oven is preheated for a perfect crust. For a milder flavor, use sweet Italian sausage instead of hot. Feel free to add other toppings like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms.
