Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets Fresh salmon is recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions For garnish (optional).

For the honey garlic glaze

  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce For savory flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  • Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  • Carefully flip the fillets and pour the honey garlic mixture over them.
  • Continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Allow the salmon to cool completely before storing leftovers. Refrigerate for up to three days or freeze for longer storage. Can be reheated gently to preserve moisture.
