Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless chicken thighs Skinless or skin-on based on preference
  • to taste Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours in the fridge for more flavor).

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the marinated chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked with an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days in the refrigerator or wrap tightly and freeze for up to three months. Reheat gently to retain moisture.
