  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation and Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and bell pepper until the meat is no longer pink.
  • Drain any excess fat. Stir in ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer for about 5 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve the meat mixture on buns.

Notes

Can be served with potato chips, coleslaw, or a side salad. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
