Brownie Batter

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  • Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped brownies.

Notes

For extra flair, serve with powdered sugar or chocolate sauce. Pairs well with ice cream or fresh berries. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge.
