  • 1/4 cup coconut oil Melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup Natural sweetener
  • 1/2 cup nut butter Any nut butter of choice
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1 cup oats Old-fashioned oats preferred

Preparation

  • In a small pot, melt the coconut oil, maple syrup, and nut butter over medium heat until smooth.
  • Stir in cocoa powder until well combined and smooth.
  • Add the oats and mix until combined. Ensure not to boil the mixture.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a sheet of wax paper to form cookies.
  • Place cookies in the freezer for about 20 minutes to set.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Separate layers with parchment paper if freezing.
