  • 1 cup Long-grain rice About 200 grams
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cups Chicken broth About 500 ml
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper Or to taste

Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients.
  • Rinse the long-grain rice under cold water.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the rinsed rice to the saucepan and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, add salt and black pepper, and bring to a boil.
  • Then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with additional Parmesan and parsley if desired.

Notes

For a heartier meal, consider adding cooked chicken, shrimp, or roasted vegetables. When storing, refrigerate for up to three days or freeze in airtight containers for up to two months.
