  • 1 lb ground beef (or mix with pork/turkey) Choose any ground meat preferred.
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for gluten-free) Almond flour can be used as a gluten-free substitute.
  • 2 units eggs Used to bind the mixture.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic infuses flavor.
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Adds a cheesy richness.
  • ½ cup milk Keeps the meatloaf moist.
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • optional glaze: garlic butter or marinara sauce Brush on during the last 10 minutes of baking for extra flavor.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, Parmesan, milk, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Transfer mixture to a parchment-lined loaf pan or shape freehand on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45–55 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Optionally, brush with garlic butter or marinara during the last 10 minutes of baking.

Resting

  • Let the loaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing to retain juiciness.

Notes

For best results, avoid overmixing the meatloaf mixture. Consider adding Worcestershire sauce or herbs for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
