Lobster Preparation

  • 4 pieces lobster tails Thaw if frozen

Garlic Butter Cream Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided Two tablespoons for sauce and two for drizzling
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for better flavor
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated preferred
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

  • Thaw the lobster tails if they are frozen. Cut down the top center of the shell and spread it open, optionally 'butterflying' the meat.

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth, then stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Baking Lobster Tails

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over the exposed lobster meat and spoon the garlic butter cream sauce over each tail.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  • Remove from oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For easy serving, provide seafood crackers or forks.
