  • 2 cups broccoli florets (300g)
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas (200g)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30ml)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15ml)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil (5ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (2.5g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.25g)

Preparation

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  • Add chickpeas and continue stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Reduce heat to low, then add soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt.
  • Toss everything together until well combined and coated with the sauce.
  • Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

This dish can be customized with your favorite vegetables and can be served alone or with rice. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
