Ingredients
  

For the Aioli

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise Recommended: Hellman's
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  • Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and whisk together.
  • Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

For a milder taste, consider using roasted garlic. For a spicy version, add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper. Stir before serving if the aioli has settled.
