  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Brush them generously with the marinade mixture.
  • Lay one or two lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  • Remove the salmon from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately.
