Ingredients

For the Oreo Filling

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

For the Coating

  • 1 lb white chocolate or almond bark
  • 1 tsp food coloring (optional)
  • 1 cup sprinkles or edible decorations (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and rolling over them with a rolling pin.
  • Combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and stir until smooth and fully combined.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  • Melt the white chocolate or almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Optionally, add food coloring to the melted chocolate.

Dipping

  • Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring a thorough coating. Tap off any excess chocolate.
  • Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle with festive decorations.
  • Allow the chocolate to harden completely at room temperature or in the fridge before serving.

Notes

For a richer taste, use double stuff Oreos for a creamier filling. Adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the cream cheese can enhance the flavor.
