Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries thoroughly and dry them completely.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips with vegetable oil, if using.
  • Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until fully melted and smooth.

Coating

  • Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Place coated strawberries onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • If desired, drizzle melted white chocolate over the chocolate-covered strawberries for decoration.

Setting

  • Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker results.
