  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, melt the butter.
  • Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.

Decoration

  • Decorate with chocolate eggs or pastel candies before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers covered for up to 3 days at room temperature or freeze for up to 3 months. Consider adding chocolate chips or nuts to the batter for added flavor.
