Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted) Let cool before mixing.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare muffin tins with grease or liners.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Melt butter and let it cool. Mix in eggs, milk, vanilla, orange juice, and zest until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; avoid overmixing.
  • Fill muffin tins two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
