Liquids

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

Preparation

  • In a Crock Pot, combine the diced chicken, sliced sausage, chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery, spreading the ingredients evenly.
  • Add the rice, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, stirring well to combine all flavors.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
  • Once done, fluff the mixture with a fork and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
