  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups rich chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar recommended
  • 1 piece onion, finely chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Add the chopped onion and white rice on top of the chicken.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  • In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the shredded cheese until melted and mixed well.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your hearty meal!

Notes

Consider pairing with a light salad or steamed vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-5 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
